What we can take, where it runs, what to send, and what comes back with the family’s consent.
- Scope we take
Speech and language, occupational therapy, feeding-related work, and Elements early intervention. Psychology, behaviour, and learning or educational support run through the behavioural and educational psychologist at Kalyan Nagar. Special education is not a dedicated service, and physiotherapy is not running.
- Where it runs
Speech and occupational therapy run at both centres. Psychology and learning or educational support run at Kalyan Nagar only. Audiology (OAE and BERA) is a scheduled assessment at Kalyan Nagar, with the audiologist travelling from Dr. Shivarama Karanth Nagar. Wavelength is not launched; enquiries are open.
- Minimum information
The child’s age and the concern you are seeing. A report or referral letter helps when available, but it is not required. A family can begin in their own words, and you can hand them the shared centre number if that is simpler.
- Consent boundary
The family decides what reports are shared and whether Cornerstone updates you or the school. Findings go to the family first. Formal school liaison is separately arranged, consented, scoped, and billed.
- Report timing
A short report takes about a week, and a detailed evaluation report about two weeks. A status report follows about every four months. Assessment and timing are agreed with the family first.

What happens after a referral
The team agrees the right consultation or assessment with the family, explains findings to them first, and updates you or the school only with their consent.
Who will see the child
Referrals are matched to the discipline and centre that fits the concern. The individual clinician is confirmed when the family’s appointment is arranged.
