Psychology & Behavioural Support for children
Psychology-led help for behaviour and emotions that keep disrupting family or school life. We start by understanding what the behaviour is saying.
Consultation and assessment fees are explained before booking.
When is psychology support relevant?
Ask when behaviour or emotion repeatedly disrupts school, family life, safety, or recovery, and the approaches you have tried are no longer enough.
A shorter storm, an evening that recovers, or a word where a scream used to be. We set visible goals and review them about every four months.

Inside the support
From a big feeling to a strategy you can use at home.
This service runs at Kalyan Nagar. The work starts by understanding what the behaviour may be communicating, then building one consistent plan.

A meltdown, an outburst, or a withdrawal is treated as communication, not defiance. The first job is to understand what your child is managing and when it is hardest.

The assessment shapes goals in plain language, and parents are coached on concrete responses for the next difficult moment. Progress is reviewed about every four months.
The kind of help this is
At Kalyan Nagar, a behavioural and educational psychologist can assess developmental or behaviour concerns and support a child and family.
From a worry to a clear picture
When a concern is still taking shape, the first useful step is often understanding, not treatment. Our consulting developmental psychologists carry out comprehensive evaluations, shaped to what your child needs: cognitive, emotional, developmental and behavioural profiles, and other assessments where they help.
- Understand the concern
Talk through what you see and whether fuller assessment would help.
- Build the picture
Assess strengths and needs, then explain them in plain language.
- Choose the support
Begin here or receive a clear pointer onwards when that fits better.
What the support looks like
- It starts with understanding.Behaviour is a message: I’m overwhelmed. I can’t say what I need. This is too much.
- An assessment and a plan you can see. What’s driving the behaviour, goals in plain language, and how we’ll know things are changing.
- Sessions with your child.Naming feelings, managing the big ones.

When is it just a phase?
Many big feelings are part of growing up; a conversation helps when behaviour repeatedly disrupts school, home, or safety.
How we’ll know it’s working
We agree on visible goals and review them about every four months, looking for small changes at home and school.
Questions parents ask
Does my child need a psychiatrist or medicine?
Not necessarily, and we don’t prescribe. If we believe a medical opinion would help, we’ll say so and guide you.
Is this my fault?
No. Behaviour like this isn’t caused by a parent’s mistake. What is yours is the response, and that can be learned.
We’ve tried everything. Why would this be different?
Because “everything” is usually a series of guesses. This starts with understanding what the behaviour is really saying, then one consistent plan.
My child has autism. Will you work with us?
Yes, support is built around your child. Children with autism can have enormous feelings, and psychology-led support alongside speech and occupational therapy is often part of the answer. This support is at Kalyan Nagar; if you’re nearer our other centre, we’ll tell you how it works.
Is this service available at both centres?
No. Psychology & Behavioural Support runs at Kalyan Nagar. We’d rather tell you that plainly than let you book something that isn’t there.
How much does it cost?
A psychology consultation is ₹1,000; sessions are ₹900. Our Fees page shows the structure, and we answer plainly on the phone.
